Iglesia Cristiana Torrente de Amor (ICTA) was founded in 2013 in the western part of Santiago de los Caballeros. We gather as the body of Christ to worship God, enjoy His presence in fellowship with one another and learn from His Word.
We began in a simple, almost improvised building. Years later, the Lord provided the means to build the church where we worship today. We remember our beginnings with gratitude and continue to grow together in faith.

Our leaders
Since its beginnings, ICTA has been led by Pastor Alex Jiménez, who, together with his wife, serves the congregation with love and a commitment to obey the Lord.
His pastoral ministry seeks to guide each believer toward a genuine and growing fellowship with Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Word, spiritual care and life in community.

WE BELIEVE: that God is the Eternal King, an infinite and unchanging Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, goodness, justice, power and love. From all eternity, He exists as the one Living and True God in three persons of one substance: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE: that the kingdom of God is eternal. From His throne, through His Son, His Eternal Word, God created, sustains and rules all that exists: the heavenly realms, the angelic hosts, the universe, the earth, every living creature and human beings. God made all things very good.
WE BELIEVE: that God created humanity in His image, male and female, for a relationship with Him and to rule the earth. Tempted by Satan, our first parents fell from grace, bringing sin, sickness and the judgment of death upon the earth. Through the fall, Satan and his demons gained access to God’s good creation.
WE BELIEVE: that God did not abandon His rule over the earth, which He continues to sustain through His providence. To bring redemption, God established covenants that revealed His grace to sinners. In His covenant with Abraham, God bound Himself to His people Israel, promising to free them from slavery to sin and Satan and to bless all nations through them. As King, God later redeemed His people through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus Christ rose on the third day, overcame death and sin, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for all who are called by His Spirit to live apart from sin. The purpose of His great love is to set our fallen race in order and make us aware of our spiritual and moral responsibility through His work.
